Benefit Art Sale

So often, tragedy strikes close to home and we feel helpless as to how to ease the pain and suffering of people who need people the most. Recently, the hit and run of the children at 10th and Redondo is a catastrophe beyond which any of us could begin to cope. Stories such as this make us want to do something relevant and meaningful.

As many of you are aware, Dr. Wooten is an avid traveler with a unique flair for photography. As a charity fundraiser, he has chosen a select few stunning, mounted and framed photos of his world travels to offer for purchase. All sale proceeds (less production costs) will be donated to assist local victims of disaster and violence. Below are samples of the photos with finished displays visible in the large adjustment room. We invite you to come by to see the art and purchase your favorite for worthy causes.

China
In November 2008, Dr. Wooten took a three-week trip to China and Tibet. An unfortunate incident led to his camera being stolen after the first day--full of pics of the Great Wall. Sigh. The camera was quickly replaced and the rest of the pics are in a brilliant collection that is not yet completely compiled. Check periodically for the complete photo documentary.

Go-Bama!

A spontaneous opportunity allowed Massage Therapist, Brian, and Office Manager, Nina, to attend President Obama's inauguration in Washington, DC. Also attending separately were patients, Jeff Burrill and Charese Kendricks. Here are some (not so) close-up photos of the 56th Inaugural of our 44th president.

Christmas Lunch, 2008

Our Christmas lunch relied heavily on the weather this year while we planned a sunny, breezy afternoon at Ruby's on the Seal Beach pier. As luck had it, it turned out to be the rainiest day in December! After the soggy trek down the pier, it was great to find the restaurant completely empty and all to ourselves!
