Benefit Art Sale
So often, tragedy strikes close to home and we feel helpless as to how to ease the pain and suffering of people who need people the most. Recent local, national and world violence and natural catastrophes have been beyond which any of us could begin to cope. News headlines inspire us to do something relevant and meaningful, but where do we begin? Well, Dr. Wooten has thought of a unique way to benefit Art-loving patients, as well as those in desperate need.
As many of you are aware, Dr. Wooten is an avid traveler with a unique flair for photography. As a charity fundraiser, he has chosen a select few stunning, mounted and framed photos of his world travels to offer for purchase. All sale proceeds will be donated to assist victims of various disasters and violence. Below are samples of the photos for your perusal. Finished displays are visible in the large adjustment room of our health center. We invite you to come by to view the art and purchase your favorite to benefit various worthy causes.

Belmont Movie Nights
Movie nights are always fun at Belmont Health Center. For these special events, we transform the back parking lot into an outdoor picnic area and
overhead theater. So far, on your votes, we've seen Corpse Bride, Shark Tale, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Labyrinth,
Beetlejuice and LadyHawke. Another theme we are planning when the weather allows, is Shakespeare in the Park(ing lot). Call or
stop by the office to find out when our next screening is and let us know what your favorite Shakespeare play/movie is. Your pick could be next.

Travels
Alaska
Last year, Dr. Wooten spent a week in Alaska, where he skied at Mt. Alyeska and was at the Starting Line of the famous Iditarod race.

China
A while ago, Dr. Wooten took a three-week trip to China and Tibet. Unfortunately, his camera was stolen after
the first day--full of pics of the Great Wall. Sigh. Not letting it get him down, the camera was quickly replaced
and the rest of the pics, along with a commentary for each are in the brilliant collection visible below.

New York
Recently, Karen was able to experience the Big Apple in all its glory for an entire week. In addition to all the
classic sites, Statue of Liberty, Central Park and Rockefeller Center, she and friends enjoyed the Museums of the
City. Moma, Cloisters, and the Metropolitan.
Thailand
Patients and friends, Arnie and Pauline Klein enjoyed a trip to Thailand recently. Take a look at the two
enjoying local cuisine and coming up with some of their own. Pauline feeds the elephants while waiting for
a ride.
Birthday/Holiday Lunches
At Belmont Health Center, we’re a family at heart. On special occasions, Dr. Wooten hosts lunch at a
restaurant of choice and we take time to relax, catch up and enjoy one another. Below are some photos of
recent events and the candid shots that made us laugh and feel it’s great to be a part of the BHC!
