Dr. Michael A. Wooten
Dr. Michael A. Wooten received his Chiropractic degree in 1994. His undergraduate studies at Cal Poly
and UCLA lead to degrees in Biology and Chemistry, with a minor in Mathematics. He also holds a Master's
degree in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the prestigious Los Angeles College of
Chiropractic, graduating with Honors, and being nominated to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.
Dr. Wooten is a sports enthusiast, having participated in five varsity sports while in college. He is still
active in tennis and volleyball, and competes at the National level in both sports. In 1984 and 1985, Dr. Wooten
won the Collegiate Superstars Competition, thus enabling him to compete with World Class athletes in the Bahamas,
which he won in 1985. It is no surprise that Dr. Wooten specializes in sports injuries and is currently working
with members of the US Ski team, ATP and WTA professional tennis tours, members of the AVP professional beach
volleyball association, as well as local and National collegiate athletes. He also treats members of the US
Equestrian Team (both human and equine). Dr. Wooten also enjoys treating a full range of musculoskeletal
conditions and health issues in his Family Practice.
